I love the new icing rules, the team that commits can not switch lines, so a tired 4th vs a fresh 1st line = VERy intresting game, I am really looking forward to this season now. biggrin:

Chris pronger is an oiler! Shit. Good and bad. Anyway, that means they probably can't afford Neidermayer, and don't really need two high priced defencemen, which gives us a better shot.

be good to d-mac ninty

That's the most retarded rule change I've ever seen.

KTOG 08-03-2005 09:05 AM

Well it basically means that they just fix their mistake before the penalty is called. Chances are the defense would all be down their anyways by the time the offense reset. Really doesn't do much other than keep the clock going.

What the hell. Fuck high scoring. You can't fucking totally change the game. Offsides is offsides. I like eliminating the Red line, and the no tie games rule, but you can't change every fucking factor. I don't want games to be 17 to 12 and shit like that. How are goalies supposed to break old records if they're expanding the crease and whatknot.

KTOG 08-03-2005 11:38 AM

Don't blow things out of proportion. The only thing that was proposed that would shoot the scores up that high would be a 4 man line and that isn't happening.

they would have a chance in Toronto...If Toronto makes the playoffs it guarentees the Senators won't win the cup because they couldn't beat us if God himself was helping them

best quote ever.

Anyways...Chris Pronger won't make Edmonton a contender...they needed Gretzky and Messier for that...and ever since it has been down hill.

Nyck 08-03-2005 02:07 PM

Naslund stays in Vancouver
Kovalev stays in montreal who also sign Dandenault
Penguins sign Sergei Gonchar

Niedermayer decision could come today
New Jersey is believed to be offering a deal worth $6.8-million a season. Vancouver, Detroit, Calgary and Pittsburgh are also said to be in the mix.

Other rumors have Brian Leetch going to Detroit

Lindros to either nashville or Toronto
