I think its fucking pathetic....I'm sure everyone has done somehing stupid on a similar scale to what this kid did, when we were all his age...NONE of us would expect to be shot and killed for it...

You just shouldn't have to worry about that sort of thing...There are more civil and less reckless ways of teaching youths a lesson.

IMO, Conclusion = The kid was stupid, but the shooter was 'stupider.'

What a dumbass kid, I hate kids these days that aren't respectful of other people, it makes the rest of the young people look awful.

Of course it's a tragedy the kid got killed, but he basically pushed the old man too far with his bullying. You have to be careful who you fuck around with. We had this crazy old man where i used to live. He would flip out if you played ball in the street or if you shot hoops across the street from his house. God forbid if the ball touched his grass....he'd run out of his house and grab it, then walk away with it. We knew he was nuts so we kept our distance. It's like tormenting the neighbors dog, you just don't do that. Poke him enough and he may bite. The kid pushed the mentally challenged old man a lil' too far and got shot over it.

I'm not condoning the shooting by any means, i'm just saying watch what you do to others, you just don't know their state of mind. Had the kid never bothered the old man to the degree he did, he'd be alive today.

Sounds like you were a law abiding citizen when you were a teenager..good for you. Also I know you were being sarcastic. The kid should have been careful with who he fucked around with..but being a teenager most have a tendancy to do immature things. If you egg a house and the owner comes looking for you obviously most teens would want to piss them off even more. Teenagers, most of them, are usually immature. This kid was harrasing the man by walking on his yard a few to many times to piss the old man off to see how he would react each time.

WHyare you assuming his isn't a model citizen? The guy had told him not to walk on his lawn, yet the kid had a shouting match with him earlier that day. The man said the kid had been harrassing him for 5 years...whether or not it was substantial harrassment doesn't matter, I just hate when young people disrespect other people and their property, especially elderly people
