There is no excuse for endangering other peoples lives on the road by speeding. How would driving enough or not enough make me understand any differently? Speeding is speeding. Tripper, I am sorry but I have to disagree with you on this, people do much much much worse and he is a responsible driver, you probably drive home high all the time as well, WHICH is a hundred times worse then this.

If he was on a "one way" street then no, he was only endangering himself. If he was on a two lane road, then yes, his actions were wreckless and he lucked out.

Either way, glad no one was seriously hurt. Accidents suck.

I don't see where you reported this to the police. Your buddy wrecked a guardrail, are you going to clandestinly repair that, or did you leave that for the taxpayers to take care of? How about insurance? Was the accident reported to his insurance carrier so his rates can reflect his lack of driving skill? While I'm glad nobody got hurt, I am dismayed that people like you and your buddy are out driving around like a couple of idiots who think you own the road.I recently buried friend who was ran over by some kid in a hopped up Civic. No it's not. I drive responsibly and don't go over the SPEED LIMIT. I don't speed just because my car can.
Dude. He lost. He had an accident. Do you think if someone else was coming along the opposite way that he'd be able to magically avoid them using his excellent CRASHING skills? No. He'd hit them, and probably kill them.

TOTALLY different. I'm twice as careful when I'm stoned and that's a fact. I literally drive slower, and double check everything. I actually regularly check my mirrors when I'm high something I just wouldn't remember to do when not-stoned.
