ddr 2 will be better than it for quite some time, ddr> ddr2 for ages untill they started getting the latencies down.

Was testing this gts against the results i had earlier with the x1900 and 2900xt, all at 1920x1200 4xaa 16xaf, 2900 seems to beat out the gts most of the time, even when its overclocked. All on vista 64:
