Cameltoe, disregard. I'm going to stick with just the two rear fans that take air out of the case.
So here's a few pics of what I've done with what I got so far: 1) I drilled a hole in the front of the case, and placed the switch for the Cold Cathode lights in the plastic bezel, as you can see here: 2) Here's a closer look at the switch. Those little specs are just from the cameras resolution, I was pretty impressed at how it fit: 3) Here's a look at the inside of the case. The blue box is the 500W Enermax power supply. The blue rectangle at the bottom of the case is the power source for the 2 cold cathode lights. If you look to the left, you can see one, the green strip going up the case, and the other ones hidden along the bottom wall. the 4 golden-brass strips in the middle are the 4 RAM peices, they all have copper plated heatsinks. To the left of them is the CPU heatsink. 4) Here's a closer look at the insides. You can clearly see the CPU golden heatsink in this pic, and the tubes at the top and bottom are for the water cooling. Like I said, I'm still not done with the setup yet, probably this weekend. I did the window. Decided on cutting it myself, as the door handle was too big and obstructed the rubber peice. As you can see, there's still some glue spots that I have to get rid of (the white lines around the edges). I'll take care of that tonight with some water and a razor. Overall, what do you think?

Never liked the thought of watercooling myself. It may be quiet yes but the thought of electricity and water being seperated by a couple of mm of plastic tubing just doesn't sit well with me. ed:

Didn't you uh.. kill your computer, Joe?

I'm a newb with a question, but it looks like you guys can help me out. I just purchased the Logitech MX700, but I'm having difficulty assigning the two side buttons for MOH. I'd like to use those for leaning. Any advice? It's much appreciated, thanks.

man i have the same problem too, but i do know you can bind the side buttons to key from your keyboard like Fkeys (from the logitech setup), and then in the game in the options you bind the lean keys to the Fkeys that you bind with the side buttons crazy, i know, thats why i just leave the side key alone |
Koolance water cooling kits suxxors balls man. I've dealt with those kits before..
I recommend: this case. http://directron.com/da10bd.html and a kit from one of these sites. http://www.dangerden.com (the black ice rads are shit, but the water blocks are good.) http://www.d-tekcustoms.com (pro core rad w/ shroud is good for 55$) and the best kits available are @ http://www.jpiperformance.com (the V2.0 Scoop Shroud and XLR rad are expensive but the best in the states as far as pre assembled goes.) If all else fails and you have access to a welder or are a welder you can buy a heatercore to a car somewhere and weld the fitting in and make your own shroud. 20$+ heatercores dissipate heat better then radiators. http://www.petsmart.com has a good supply of pumps. While Eheim is the best, they are expensive. I recommend the: Danner Mag Drive # 3 http://www.petsmart.com/fish/shopping/w ... F770.shtml Make sure you seal the pump with plumbers goop or some type of adhesive to make sure no teh leaks. recommended watercooling sites: http://www.wc101.com http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/i ... %20COOLING |
Jibber, that did the trick. Thanks for your help. Now I just got to get used to using them!
