If someone comes bck to now from the future, they can not die. Since the future would be his present, how could someone die in the past and live in the present? Its not possible, therefore LITTLE JOHN COULD NOT DIE.

it's hard to say since its impossible to begin with, but i suppose if he died in the past he could never be in the future and thus could never come back to make site, but then the kid also would have never looked at the site, but with today technology the site is on his computer so it wouldn't shut off.... although i suppose he couldn't refresh or come back to it.... but i agree with you here.... we've all seen back to the future.... and going back through time isn't possible, so the situation could never come up. trying to see where you are going with this.

Anyway, i'll ry to explain this as best I can.

Lets get what we know stright first:

John is born in 1998. He grows up and at the year 2036 he comes back to 2003 and puts up a website explaining whatever.

Now your saying what would happen if 5 year old John was looking at the site 38 year old John made, and died, right?

The explination for this is very simple, and i've been saying it all along. It would not be possible to kill 5 year old John, because he is to grow up and travel back in time from 2036 to 2003 and put up a website.

You could try to kill him, or maybe he tries to kill himself. If I came along and tried to kill 5 year old John, maybe he caught me or maybe I shot him in the leg. Or maybe he juped off the roof but only broke his arm. It doesn't matter because John must live until at least 2036. If somehow John died at 5 years old, then he wouldn't live to the year 2036, and he wouldn't come back in time and make a site and John at 5 wouldn't be looking at it.

You're missing the point: John refers to timelines, which basically talks of
infinite universes. In his case, returning to the "past" simply creates a new
timeline. Killing John Titor of this timeline simply means that even if he had
the chance to go back given perfect conditions, he'd be unable to because
you capped his ass.

You guys need to lay off the "singular linear timeline" bullshit and embrace

As for my particular post, I did not entertain the possibility that he travelled
back in time but that rather, he jumped to another universe. You can claim
that such an action is impossible but you are merely labelling yourself a fool
because you are not an authority on the topic and your knowledge is clearly
too limited (as is everyone else's) to judge whether or not "jumping" or time
travel is possible.

Get a PhD, become a well-known cosmologist and I might take your word for

good try at being an ass. i have explained myself more in depth earlier in this thread. i have already explained why it is impossible to travel back in time, and i raised a question about infinite universes, never said i was right. i never said i was of any authority. although i am apparently much more educated and intelligent than you since you completely ignored what i said and could only pay attention to the idea THAT i said something. go back and read what i said, think about what i said, then respond to what i said instead of just babbling. For it is proven the universe will expan indefinatly which DOES cause a problem if there are infinite universes. now work on not being a jerk, because this discussion had been going on quite fine a few hours now without you.
