Ok ive heard a solo by Portnoy, than i listened to one by Barker.

Both are outstanding drummers. The thing is and i dont know if you realize this, but i dont think portnoy can play the style drumming barker does and vice versa. They each have their own style, and i believe both are equally good.

That being said, and all opinions stated.

Chuck D shits all over the MCs in SSU.....He just has much more of an appealing voice - A very powerful, strong, and impacting style as well. SSU just sound like a bunch of little wankers - I'd rather listen to someone who actually sounds mature enough to talk realistically about society, than what sounds like a bunch of stupid white kids rapping about boring shit, the same shit that every other independent label MC is rapping about.

Chuck D has a place in hiphop - He has done 36749839437498348739 more things than SSU will ever do, for hiphop. For that, I respect him.

He's also put together the ONLY good rap/rock combination I've ever heard - And that was in the late 80s....Public Enemy & Anthrax - Bring Tha Noize
