LOL you silly ignorant americans, come on take us over, im sure the rest of the world would let you do that, would just add another country to the list that wants to kill your people, You dont realize what we provide you with, I bet your car or truck was made in ontario in one of the plants in the south here, ontario has now took over the top spot from michigan, Ontario will end the year with production of 2.70 million vehicles, compared with Michigan’s 2.61 million units.
Or maybe all the gold and nickel taken from the canadian sheild or the wheat thats taken from the west, or the natural gas.
We both need eachother to survive

There is no possible way that the US could take what they want. Canada is much too large to do that with the number of troops the US has. Alberta alone is bigger than Iraq and contains most of Canada's oil. Now try to control 9 other provinces, 3 territories and all their resources. Supply routes would be hunderds or thousands of km's long. The troops required would be massive. Not going to happen.

Couls the US take over Canada? Yes, very easily. Could the US occupy Canada? No possible way.

Over 80% of Canadian exports go to the US. If Canada disappeared, the US would have to find those resources from somewhere else. Probably Europe and Asia. Now your looking at increased costs right off the bat. I believe it's ignorant to say we don't need such and such a country, because it's not true. The US needs Canada, Canada needs the US. Period.
