Even though I don't think the Leaf's have a good chance of being a top team this year, I will still cheer every game for them. If we keep the rest of the guys we have and just get 1 or 2 new guys we might do well, because we have a solid core of players that have played with eachother for a while

edit: Neidermeyer to the Ducks

'bout time the Blackhawks did something. I used to love the Detroit/Chicago games but in the last few years it has just been a stop for the Wings. Hopefully they will be better games now

no wonder you guys have to get rid of all your players, you're paying Mikael Tellqvist 450,000 milion dollars.

well you just got a new stadium for the steelers and a new one for the pirates , so i dont see the pens getting a new arena , but it might happen if mario can work some magic in the boardroom like he did on the ice.

That was many years ago. We just passed legislation for legalized (limited) gambling which will bring in revenue for the community. I believe if the Pens do well in the next year a vote for a new stadium will pass in city council.

Didn't Mario sell the Penguins to an owner who promised to keep the team in pittsburgh and try to get a new stadium? If the pirates got a stadium, and they haven't been good in several years (longer then the Pens), then the Pens deserve a new one too. With Crosby, i don't think a new stadium is that far away.

I told you! Sad thing is I think he will be the starter...for some reason they have no faith in Manny Legace. Too bad I think he could be good ala marty turco.

other news, Bertuzzi has been reinstated for the start of the season.

Funny many think the same of you.

I really think Osgood will do great this year with Legace. he was on the radio today and was really pumped to be back and talked of how he missed it here in Detroit. Should be an exciting year.
