cry: cuss: I took the somputer over to my friends house. he checked everything out and I had indeed hooked it up correctly. We plugged it in and BAM, curcit breaker blew. so he flipped the switch on the breaker, and we plugged the computer back in. Same thing happened. We decide to take the power supply out and see what happens when we just connect the power to the power supply...... same fucking thing happened. We took it to another part of the house, because the room we were in had a lot of stuff already hooked up. We plug in the power supply and hear a small pop. Not like a fire cracker, just kinda like a relay popping.

long story short, we think my power supply is fucked. going to take the damn thing over to geek squad and have them take a look at it.

Its not a matter of "fuck this company or that" its a matter of getting the best performance for your money. Looks like the tide is swinging back in favour of intel for a while anyway.

As i type this im on a pc with 2 gigs of ram, x800gto 2 with an amd 4400+x2 cpu i just built for my uncle. pretty nice system at that. happy:

fugging computer is locking up on me

cod2 will just freeze or just down at times

nothing major installed - drivers and games really - and wifi app

shuttle AN35-N Ultra
1 gig 2x512 Kingston DDR
Maxtor 40 gig HD
Western Digital 200gig secondary hd
Lite-on cd burner
amd mobile barton 2500+

could it be the hdd? i don't think it's the ram cuz i just rma'd it for soem new ones like a month or so ago

sometimes before the system freezes, i hear a spin up sound in my headphones - much like a cd is spinning up or somthing to that nature
