Gerard you fail to realize that our national anthem was wrote on a fucking napkin off the coast of the US while the british and americans were fighting, he wrote what he saw. And we fought for freedom from britian. We lost alot of guys for what we have today, so it should be respected. I would never boo anybodys national anthem.

This seems like disagreeing for the sake of it. I didn't really say anything about corrective smacks or suggestive pats, I said "smack the shit out of". If anyone smacks the shit out of any kid they deserve to be shot, no two ways about it.

It may have been politically and sociably correct 25 years ago to belt and beat children but it ain't now. Not in my book.

As I said, I wasn't trying to suggest to anyone how to bring up a child. But if I heard someone was beating their children up I'd be fucking livid.

That's not the case here so it's not a problem as has already been said and mentioned. It was a misunderstanding.

There is nothing wrong with keeping your little punk kid inline once in awhile, he does something dumb or stupid, ya give him a thump. than throw him in his room.

Some canadians are just dumb (for instance, a canadian at my school is dumb as bricks) but many are smart. There are some great Canadians like Zoner, but these kinds of Canadians can just eat a dick.
