OK, tried loading it on my laptop first (P4 2.8gig 512,megs of ram and a FXgo5600 w/64 megs of video ram) loaded but had mouse problems on the config menu

moved the install to my main box (P4 3gig 2 gig of PC3500 matched corsair with a 128 ATI 9800) ran fine but some weird sky ripping and this very big spike coming from my gun at times during the demo.

Graphics where very nice with the exception of the above mentioned problems. Did not have any problems with killing the AI while set to the default level of difficulty.

Water effect was very nice, drove the buggy all the way up the stairs. beat the game in 15 minutes but is was fun. definitely looking forward to the MP demo before making a final decision on buying this game.

The demo was sweet. I didnt have too many issues with it other than it was a bit of a resource hog - 30-50 fps average with xp2200, 512ddr3200 and a 9800pro at 1024x768 on medium settings. That should get cleared up a bit before release.

ATI cards cannot run the game with AA on. It causes problems at this point. That might account for some of the issues some of you had.

Looking forward to the mp demo and hte game in march (yeah, right).

Nvidia paid money to the game to make sure it ran better on there cards, just like ATI paid money to Valve to make there cards run better on HL2....

Quite impressive, especially the jungle, but I won't buy it. It's just too much of a disney air about it, everything is too squeaky clean & it's slightly sci fi which I don't like.

I was thinking the same thing Fluffy Bunny but that's why I want to try the MP part of it first.

For some reason, SP does not cut it with me anymore. always looking for just the MP part of a game. I use SP to learn the game, then jump right in to MP.

Same thing that's maybe why more and more games are heading to the MP part of the games.

I don't really see anything special. The map is nice and colourful. I ran it at 800X600 and I ahve a AMD XP 1.4 512DDR GF 5600 256mb. It was a little laggy, but I had other shit downloading, so it might be better when I try it later.

It looks nice, but its just another shooter.
