I want Calgary to win because I want to see all the teams a little higher than edmonton lose so those "city of champions" edmonton team can finally take down that stupid sign.

And do you think that after missing the playoffs for 7 years, anyone would be interested in broadcasting every single game? It just doesn't make financial sense. Who wants to watch a losing team? A team that you know has no chance up against detroit, colorado, dallas and all the other powerhouses? Toronto has tons of money. So does Boston and Detroit and Colorado. Calgary and Edmonton have pretty much no money. We're right on teh bubble. Don't give me "real hockey towns broadcast every game". That BS. We have the Mac's tournament every year. 15-19 year olds players from all over North America come to play and the saddledome is sold out. For every WHL hitmen game there are like 10,000 people in the stands. Real hockey fans don't leave the building when your team is losing. They support them to the end. When was the last time you had to listen to the leafs on the RADIO? I listened to the entire Detroit game on the radio, and tonight i'll listen to the entire Columbus game on the radio yet again.
Anyway, good win for Calgary. Lets do it again to Columbus. We should be able to rape them easily. Can't wait for the playoffs.
