I used to have pokemon cards actually. then I sold them all at around the time when they were the most popular

in grade 7 i made good money off of them as well. i sold my collection for a grand. ( i won all the cards at local tournaments as a kid), The store owned who sold them literally got rich, he would buy 50 000 dollelers worht of cards and sell them all in 3 hours. it was crazy shit at its time. I took that grand and spent it on my recwent cavalier. Who would have thought.

I remember the booster packs were a good 9-12 bucks each. nowadays i'd say fuck it. I bought a pack of jap cards for 40$. that whole fad was rediculously expensive.

I turned around and sold the individual cards for a whole lot more. turned that pack into about 200 bucks. Its better if you tell them that the jap ones are worth more.
