They... like many things in our society have different effects in different hands, i have no problem with legalizing them... as .. in my mind its no more dangerous than alcohol, smokes, and guns... all of which are legal.

And OR, since alcohol and tobacco products are legal, that means there are ALOT more people actually doing it which elevates the potential for more accidents/deaths. If weed was legalized, I'm sure there would be more problems in society just due to the fact that there would be more people doing it. I'm not saying that it will ever rise over the numbers of alcohol and tobacco. I'm just saying that with more people smoking it, there will be more accidents.
