No Japan?

ninty 03-06-2007 09:02 AM

Yes, Japan, South Korea, UAE, Kuwait, Chile, Quatar, Argentina etc. I was just generalizing. Most of the developed countries are located in EU, NA, and Australia/NZ, but there are others.

What aboot South Africa?

ninty 03-07-2007 06:57 AM

I'm not sure if South Africa is developed enough to be first world. Same with their GDP. They'd be second world at least though.

Whats second world? areas like eastern europe, asia?

ninty 03-07-2007 08:58 AM

Second world countries are basically developing countries, but not at a high state of development. This is pretty much the rest of the world with the exception of countries that are hardly developed at all.

Second world: Asia, Eastern Europe, Indonesia, parts of Africa, parts of South America etc.

Third world is obviously low developed countries, mainly in parts of Africa.
