the small town of washington NH, and i MEAN small under 1000 in the summer and likely under 500 in the winter. its quite most of the time, fall gets aggrivating with leaf peepers. Hot and very humid in the summer, and very cold and snowy in the winter....but this summer all its down is RAIN, in april we more than doubles the previous precipitation record from the YEAR of 1984

Canton, Ohio.

Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Lots of construction.
Shitty weather/news telling you the weather.
One of the most sutt [sp?] filled places in USA thanks to 1 oil plant, various other large factories and Timken Steel.
Lots of robbery suprisingly.
A few pretty bad areas and a bunch of rich communities.

Other than the changes in weather, its not to bad.

In America:

South Side Chicago -

-Tons of whitesox fans.
-Racially diverse schools, my highschool was 50% Black, 25% White, 15% Latino, 5% European, 5% Asian

I live about 10 minutes away from the really bad ghetto, where you are bound to get shot and mugged at night, or even during the day. I'm about 30-40 minutes away from Downtown Chicago tho, depending on the traffic, I just take Cicero Ave North to I-55 and head to Lake Shore Drive. The only Under-21 club around my place is Zero Gravity, which is a Polak club, but some Lithuanians go there. Its okay when you go in for free, other than that it sucks.

In Lithuania:

Kaunas -

-Lots of violence
-No significant racial diversity. 90% White (Lithuanian), 5% Arab (Kazakstan, Armenia, etc. immigrants), 5% Asian Immigrant. Maybe a total of 10 black students from France or England total in the whole country.

I grew up near the Nemunas River in Kaunas, which is the largest city in Lithuania. The crime rate and violence there is double than that of even the worst ghettos of America. Park your car in the wrong neighborhood, you wont even see it stripped and on cinderblocks, it will be gone. There are 5th graders in gangs. Cops are corrupt, slip em a bribe and they will let you get away with murder. Other than that, it is a very clean city, has very good historical sites. There is the Kaunas Castle that has stood since medieval times. Overall it isnt a vacation spot, but it is livable.

Here is a shot of Kaunas from the river Nemunas.

I said Denver sucks, but I forgot Colfax - the only reason to like the town is that street, it's the only place in Denver that has any personality. Everything else is yuppie shit.

Morgantown is a great little city whos population doubles when the students come in each fall. Pretty much the greatest part of the town is just the love for the state. I work tech support for WVU in a building on the waterfront. It is a very beautiful city but the parking sucks.

Im north of Detroit about 1 1/2 hours. Its nothing but nice. Trees everywhere, lakes everywhere. You cant be more than 2 miles away from a lake in Michigan no matter where you stand. Not much traffic compared to when I lived in the Detroit area. I love it up here much more than the suburbs of Dtown. I can hunt, fish or just take a walk in the woods without going far at all. good schools and not much crime although my car got broken into 2 weeks ago (I didnt lock it, Doh!) The thing I like the most is we are surrounded by woods. Its great if your an outdoorsman. The auto companies are laying off left and right but it doesnt effect my job so I should be fine. I am in a recession proof business. (hip/knee replacement-people fall all the time!)
