thats what happenend to mine, except with me i think a original xbox game fucked it up, sent it in, within 2 weeks got a new one

they send you a empty box with packing foam and instructions, you just send the console, no cables, no harddrive, no controllers

Quick out of the gate with lots of potential, but breaks down about 3 months later. Good for lugging around a golf bag.

maybe you shouldnt play it 8-12 hours a day and it would last longer
