i have a 250GB Ultra ATA 100 Seagate HD 7200 rpm, 16mb cache - will i be able to combine this to a Seagate 300GB SATA 300 7200 rpm, 16mb cache for a RAID?

Don't think you could do raid 0 which basically mirrors the drives to improve speed, as far as i know raid drives have to be the same size, for raid 0 at least.

Ive never done a raid cfg so im not too sure, but any raptor dual cfg's ive seen are the same size so id asume they have to be.

Probably just looks messy because the psu has no sleeving around the cables. Depends on your case as well if theres somewhere you can put them out of the way.
