I find that way of thinking quite retarded... As i know most guitarists cherish their first guitar, even if it isnt the best thing in the world. That's the thing about guitar, you can make an old used guitar sound great if you know how to play. And a $2000 guitar can sound like shit if you have no love for the music or no rythmn. Same goes with a car, a civic can smoke a ferrari if the person in the ferrari has no idea what theyre doing.
