There wouldn't be a need for Terrorism if we didn't ahve a certain superpower trying to run everything.

Old Reliable 03-11-2003 11:16 PM

that is the gung-ho approach. i really do not have a view on this war anymore it is too confusing. it will just be interesting to see what pans out

Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Terrorism has been around longer than the United States has been a Super Power you mong chop.

Pyro 03-11-2003 11:31 PM

it's not like 9/11 was just "something" to do that day

America had to have given them some sort of reason to want to.

Old Reliable 03-11-2003 11:32 PM

the whole terrorism thing against the united states all started when they began supporting Israel.....before then, there was no widespread middle east terrorism against the United States. even in Poland during the third partition, terrorism existed against the Austrian, Prussian and Russian empires. this terrorism died down eventually when napoleon "liberated" poland

And do you think that reason justifies the murder of over 3000 civilians ?

Recycled Spooge 03-11-2003 11:39 PM

Look at the U.S. trying to using dollar diplomacy on Turkey and Mexico, and tell me the U.S. is not an imperialist country? If there's a McDonald's in your country, then your country is being impacted by a U.S. sphere of influence.

BallisticWookie 03-11-2003 11:42 PM

Ofcourse many countries are being "Americanised", I dont like it, but it's no fucking reason to HATE the US or to kill innocent civilians.

Old Reliable 03-11-2003 11:45 PM

since ww2 everything has been complicated...there are too many countries oOo:

You know why the U.S. has such a huge military? Because if the corporations can't get into to a country, they send in the military. Now, in order to imperilize, the U.S. doesn't need to send in the military anymore, they send in corporations. Just know this, all politicians in the U.S. a funded by corporations.. sooo hmm... who are these politicians really working for here? And if a foreign corporations starts funding politicians in a different country, what do you think happens then? About 60% of Turks don't support the U.S. being in their country and attacking Iraq from there, but what can they do if the U.S. gives them money? Dollar diplomacy. Imperialism.

I don't bother. People are allowed to think what they wish, no matter how ignorant it is. People are going to believe what they wish, they have that freedom, after all.

IM sorry but that is the stupidest thing i have read here. We dont force corporations on countries, corporations go there to make money, corporations like McDonalds arent part of the government. And if they dont allow McDonald's we lead with a military attack? All of your "ideas" are just based upon a general anti-government sentiment that warps what you see to fit what you think. Im sure we pay Turkey money to use their country? ?! Its all just a big conspiricy, the US pays everyone to let us do stuff. ?!?!
And there are FEC rules that prevent corporations from influencing campaigns (the main way to sway a politician) that have been in place for years.

Arabians hate us because we were involved in their "holy" land, and they have hated anglo races since the crusades.

And i doubt pakistanis mind if they have a mcdonalds.

uhh, last time i checked the US government had no connection with McDonald's. If a company like McDonald's wants to go international, then that has no connection with the government. In other words, If there is a McDonald's in your country, then you are being impacted by a gigantic food chain with limitless expansion ability.
