Gerard you fail to realize that our national anthem was wrote on a fucking napkin off the coast of the US while the british and americans were fighting, he wrote what he saw. And we fought for freedom from britian. We lost alot of guys for what we have today, so it should be respected. I would never boo anybodys national anthem.[/quote:0b1e4]
And what you fail to realise is our national anthem was written during the time of the easter uprising of 1916 when irish revoloutionarys were being shot left and right and their leaders executed AFTER they surrendered, they surrendered to save their men knowing full well they would be executed. Still the brits boo our national anthem when it was their soldiers doing the executing. |
