Well, just to tell you cops are not retards. The retards have to be the people that do not respect the law in the first place. If you did something wrong like get stoped for running A Red light, All you have to do is respect the cop. Be nice to him and NOT talk back to him. Just do what he says. Now say you robbed A place and on your way out you hit A person in the face and broke lets say his nose while running out of the place and the cops see that, you deserve an ass wooping. Now about them being supreme beings well, They are there to protect people from anything. Now I would say they are protecting people that are not Assholes (people that respect cops). Protecting the people from A criminal, Thats why they do that.

Ok, here's a serious answer to your police question. I don't know how much the police make in your area, but the ones where i live make $105k a year base salary. Thats alot of coin for a high school diploma. The job has both pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons by a landslide. You get to carry full time (off duty), work shifts where you get more days off during the year than the average worker, and you get days off during the week, and not to mention not getting ticketed when you make a mistake while driving.
The cons are some people don't like you because of your profession, you can get shot at while doing your job, and you're held to a higher standard when it comes to the law.....screw up and you'll be made an example of.
