When he would sign with a team like Detroit or Colorado and have a shot at it. Sure lots of these teams are fucked now. Now instead of Two or Three teams having a Roster full of Superstars. Every team is going to have two or three big names. I dont see one team now that is stack, Well other than Philly . Anyone could win the cup this year, Maybe even Toronto.

i like it personally. maybe some unknown will stand out form the 3rd line and have a breakout season. even playing field will make for fierce battles as everyone has a wide open shot to win Lord Stanley's cup!

Its insane the amount of energy Pittsburgh has for the Pens this season. I feel like i'm back in 1991. This season could rejuvinate the Pittsburgher's "Steeler's or Bust" persona and bring back hockey the way it used to be. Even better, we might get some arena deals out of this.

well you just got a new stadium for the steelers and a new one for the pirates , so i dont see the pens getting a new arena , but it might happen if mario can work some magic in the boardroom like he did on the ice.

well you just got a new stadium for the steelers and a new one for the pirates , so i dont see the pens getting a new arena , but it might happen if mario can work some magic in the boardroom like he did on the ice.
That was many years ago. We just passed legislation for legalized (limited) gambling which will bring in revenue for the community. I believe if the Pens do well in the next year a vote for a new stadium will pass in city council.

You have to agree with the Canuck on this one any Canadian city is going to be more into hockey than a lot of US cities.
