I would have rather gotten a thompson or a bar gun rather then a garand.

you need a class 3 license for one of those and they cost a shitload in money and paperwork, plus nearly impossible to get in some states

The semi-auto thompson looks like shyte though with the longer barrel and whatnot.Though it would be cool to own the 1928 model with the forward pistol grip and drum magazine. I'd wanna own Bren gun most of all though since it was hailed as the best LMG design of ww2.

i got the competition grade or match grade or something like that..whichever is the best, plus the engraving it added up to about $2500.
