The game is fantastic, totally immersive, love it. I had Morrowind when that was out but couldn't get involved with all the tiny details, reading, techniques, etc but this is exactly the right balance. The dialogue is interesting and you can skip whatever you like, you basically can do anything in the world, explore or do side/main quests.

Any way of takin screenshots other than the method i mentioned or by using fraps?

Ive no fucking clue how this game is played, all i know is so far when i attack people that own little inns and stuff even if theyre unarmed i rarely am able to kill them with my sword despite slashing the shit out of them 6 or 7 times. Mosta the time they are able to run away and get a guard. loney: eek:

The game black screens for me at random intervals.

I was just scrollin thru those 2 links i provided in my last post up there^ and ppl mentioned that black screen problem, check them out n you may find a fix

Tried to play w/ my 9000 Pro, and i get just a big white screen once the game loads...looks like its time to upgrade loney:

I was fucking around earlier with the ini, changeda couple of options and got the higher res textures to display over a further distance, kills my fps though. This is everything maxed (no hdr or fsaa) plus the ini modification.

well i just passed the MQ. kind of funny, it;s got a big climatic end then you just walk away and go on doing whatever.

I have 28 hours of play time and i beat the main quest and became grandmaster of the fighters guild.

im the listener of the dark brotherhood and still havnt gotten past the first gate >_<

Well, I haven't explored ANY of the ruins and only joined Mages guild... so I have three other guilds waiting and quite a few ruins and items to check out. :D

there are thousands upon thousands of items to discover in the game. even 500 hours of gameplay would probably not discover them all.

When I bought mine today all they had was a 1-DVD version.

i bought it the day it came out and it's one dvd. i believe the only format offered is dvd format.

Yes, I posted about that already. Items are regenerated every once in a while and your stuff is gone forever. The only real safe place to put something is in your own house which you can purchase in any of the 9 major cities.

im stuck at the part where acideyez is, the first oblivion gate. i think i have to close it before the emperors son leaves but how do i close it?

just walk up to it and hit spacebar to get inside. am i missing something?
