i say if they dont start sending aid we never forget about it.

the reason we give aid is because we are an 31337 country that has many resources to do so. If we don't give aid to countries (for example, the Tsunami areas), then other countries will see us as the fat, cheap, stereotypes that they already see us as (not saying anything bad, but this is what they see us as).

so basically the world is a bunch of "freeloaders " that only accepts help, but doesnt feel the need to repay the favor ? if thats the case i would hope the goverment never forgets what is happening in New Orleans when some country comes begging for aid after a natural disaster.

Just got word, swat teams for the south ar flocking to NO to help fix the looting situation. Also some battle hardened marines have landed and were told, to "use force if necessary" to stop the looting and help rescue victims.

People around the world care about the suffering and would probably like to help the victims but america's position in the world and the decisions they make put foreigners in a tough spot..they want to help but may be so turned off by americas foreign policy that they might not care at all.

fuck our foreign policy , this has nothing to do with iraq or afghanistan or any of that bullshit , i seem to remember we were alread in iraq when the tsumani hit and we still pumped a shitload aid into thailand. everyone is so quick to jump on are " foreign policy" when in fact we give a shitload more aid to needy countries then any other country in the world . the time has come for these recipent countries to pay the proverbal piper , that being the United States of America , and the citizens of new orleans.
