It is interesting to note that in one part they say there is no apparent reason for the behavior other than pleasure and then later they point out that the female does it to attract the attention of the male or to remind the male what he is supposed to be doing.

I think you misunderstand some things....It's not only gays that support gay rights, civil union, etc. I think you'll find that a good 50% of most populations support it. That's why it's not about a 'minority' ruling over the majority, because if it does go ahead - It's because the majority have decided so....Unless you people have some kind of warped voting system where the minority vote wins.... oOo:

Alot of people go through REALLY hard times dealing with homosexuality. I've heard plenty of stories of guys comitting suicide after denying it for so long. People that hate on gays are generally the cause of those suicidal feelings. It's not a simple case of, "hey it's cool to be gay. I like dudes......NOW."

You can't just change your sexual orientation like that.

yup exactly, my old junior school best friends brother turned out to be gay and owned up to his parents and his brother - he decided he was going to tell his friends shortly before his 17th birthday and committed suicide because of the way he thought his friends would see him as.

We were really close to this family and to hear that his dad pulled him down from a rope is really sick. This is the sort of pain these people go though. He didnt make a choice and say he's gay, it just happened. Who cares what the rest of the world thinks, homosexuality is in real time - no one can do anything about it. Eventually people will have to admit that homosexuality is a part of our society.

Sorry Tripper, everywhere in America that gay marriage has been put to a vote it has been defeated. Even in MA the vote said no gay marriage. A judge threw out the law. It's interesting what Mr Daniels says here because he admits that his group is trying to circumvent the voting process by using activist judges.

Whatever, I was just trying to point out that it's not only gays that generally support their cause...I.e, down here we passed the civil union bill, pretty much the majority of our Labour party (equivelent of democrats - liberal), which are currently in power voted yes on it. Doesn't mean they're all gay.

I'm sure where ever you people are from, they'd vote against it.

tripps, actually here in america there are alot of people against it. It's just one of those things that conservative america is different compared to the world.

Actually, I think the polls show that about half, or more, of the country supports a civil union bill. But when you start calling it "marriage" that's when the numbers really drop off.

civil unions/marriage; the point is, seperate but equal has already been determined to be discrimination. this is clearly an issue of a group of people being oppressed.
