Computer Games making eye-sight better
 

I read in a magazine called newscientist that despite the arguements about computer games rotting kids minds, it actually makes kids eye site better. The article says that, significant tests were taken and children that play computer games more often have 15% better eye sight than others, and just after play 10 hours of computer, subjects had improved eye sight.

Wonder if this could be a new way to train snipers, make em play PC games all the time to increase there sniping abilities??

sounds like BS to me, I heard that PC screens destroy eyesight, like books, it's all about focusing up close.

youd think that wouldn't ya, personally i was suprised at the article as well but, when i had an eye injury I got a cricket ball in my left eye, i had to go to hospital and have alot of eye tests and my vision was blurred and cloudy and i still had 20/20 vision

since i got my computer my eye sight sucks mad:

my eyes hurt after bout 3 hours of mohaa

and if youre a nerd.......give you an ego boost for finishing first in an online shooter.

my eyes I think have got worse. used to have better than 20/20 now I only have 20/20.

sometimes i find my eyesight really blurry other times i can see a squirrel having the bummsecks with a raccoon 500 yards away

i think you were misinformed. Games have made children react better from action games, but long hours at your computer will kill your eyesight, though i can still see fine
