ok, most of u know i have that newer version of the PS2 and it already has the built-in ethernet. now, I want to hook up it up to a connection, I have the online set up disc and all that crap, I just wanna know, do I need to connect to a service? will I be billed extra? I have a router so all I going to do and split the connection. but I wanna know if I will be billed for extra crap and stuff.

Yes, its likly just like Xbox live, a monthly fee.

no its free, not like shitty xbox, just follow the set by step setup on your starter disk and you will be fine.

xbox live is annual, not monthly

i played online for a bit with ps2, and it was free

only way id play on ps2 online is if i get paid for it.

Probably wouldn't last long if you did, those super reliable ps2 dvd drives and all. oOo:
