Favorite 80's TV show?
To me, the 80's was one of the worst decades in human history, from clothes to music, it all sucked. I know I did not grow up then, but hey don't hate me to bad, you know you all agree. There were a few good TV shows though, and my favorite had to be Magnum PI, which comes on in 25 minutes. What was your favorites ladies? Let me know so I can be happy.
Magnum rocks, very funny show to me. Magnum seems more like a real person than most shows seem to like. The on going fued between him and Higgins is my favorite part. |
i grew up in the 80s you filthy cunt. this is the decade that brought you parachute pants, the beginnings of hip hop, and some damn fine punk rock and amazing fucking Heavy Metal that the world has yet to produce.... Not to mentio0n members only jackets, and cardboard in every kids basement (im not going to bother explaining this).
on topic: Buck Rodgers which ran for 2 seasons i think on Thursdays at 800pm was my fav...then i watched Knight Rider at 9...Glen Larson for teh win.... |
Location: Looking for beans and love.

Well maybe it is just myself that is not the 80s biggest fan. There where several good tv shows. I liked the Dukes of Hazzard also. The music I guess is just not my type, but Kenny Loggins did own.

The 80s owned, man. Too bad you missed it while spending the decade in a seminal vesicle.
I don't think I can name one show as my fave, so I'll list some: - The A-Team - MacGyver - CHiPS - The Greatest American Hero - Happy Days - The Dukes of Hazzard (although I don't like to watch it now) - BJ & The Bear (who remembers that shit? Good times.) - Facts of Life - Three's Company - Air Wolf - Alf - Knight Rider - Emergency! (Ok, that was the 70s...suck it) - Buck Rogers (pwned...many a tissue was made sticky because of Erin Grey) - V (Robert Englund before Freddy Kreuger. Ownage.) - Circle Square ("Come and let it shine shine shine...c'mon and let your light shine." If you're Canadian and over 30, you watched it. Admit it.) - The Muppet Show - You Can't Do That on Television - The Great Space Coaster (No news is good news with Gary Gnu) - News from Zoos (Who remembers THAT shit??) Remember the "Battle of the Network Stars" shows? Awesomeness. |
zoner's post = the definitive list...

Another gem for you Canucks over 30...remember "Yes You Can"?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381834/combined Found a write up on it: "A half-hour program for children, Yes You Can starred singer and composer Kevin Gillis, with two young co-hosts, Trevor Bruneau and Tammy Bourne, and regular Coach Cuddles (Patrick) Ford, their comic foil. Michael Magee also "appeared" on the show, as the voices of two animated characters, Harry Hog and the Body Man, two opponents locked in the combat for physical health. Designed to encourage good health and exercise for youngsters, the program combined music with exercise and health and sports information, and each week featured an appearance by a sports figure." I watched that shit religiously. |
Zoner got em all. A-team is rerunning here in Sweden atm, been watching all the episodes I can. biggrin:
