I have to write a 5 page com[arative essay on religion and i'm doing the similarities between religious scriptures in Judaism and Christianity...but I need a argument thesis and every thesis i've tried my teacher has told me no, can anyone help me come up with one?

Throughout History man has used religion as an explanation for the unknown and mystique. Two of mans religions, Christianity, and Judaism were the first two large scale monotheist religions in the world. Besides both of these faiths coming from the Middle East they have very striking similarities within their own scriptures. Many will see them apart because of their names or other petty differences however their core values and beliefs are nearly one in the same.

christianity is evolved from judaism, christians are basically jews who belive that christ was the savior of humanity and follow him. Muslims are jews who believe.... Im not sure, but both muslim and christian faiths are evolved from judaism, the first monotheistic religion.

Zoroastrianism?

Thesis.

I intend to show evidence and facts that support the idealogical thoughts that christians, while for the most part can be good, but often have nothing to do but bring forth their bible thumping into realms beyond the control of their god. Examples of this would be calling Star Wars the tool of the Devil, that spongebob and the purple teletubby are homosexual, and that anal sex is a sin(it can actually be quite stimulating). I also intend to prove that Jews are money grubbing penny pinchers who are out to take your money, take part in unhealthy filthy habits(uncircumcised penis's anyone) and killed Jesus.

That is my thesis statement.

Ok...I showed my teacher that thesis and she said it's wrong, she said it has to be a theory and have to prove a point in it oOo: oOo: oOo: and now i'm even more fucked becuase the rough draft is due tomorrow and I know jack shit on my topic, my teacher is retarded, we got the essay on tuesday last week and it's due thrusday(final copy).

I think you need to find examples of the same teachings in the bible and the torah.
And compare how they are the same but different if u see what i mean
