Seems the 360 hd dvd drive can be run on windows with special drivers and some hd software happy:

SO gerv tell me, is HDMI really nice over standard analog Component cables. The PS3 has HDMI support, while the 360 has composite. One Microsoft rep said HDMI in video games really isn't any different from composite.

Havn't a fuckin clue to be honest, far as i know hdmi just offers higher resoloutions than component connectors and also has inbuilt audio in the one cable.

The 360 supports 1080p now right, with that update.

Well the only real diff with hdmi must be that hdmi does the video and audio on the one connector. Not really clued into this hdmi shit much. =/

Well ill tell you pyr0, im not impressed with the PS3. The motion sensor controller is a piece of shit. It was so stupid to add because of Nintendo's Wii omfg someone had a cool idea, lets take it real quick and add it a month before launch!

Unfortunately the Wii will own the PS3 in sales. I might goto best buy and wait in the store and just buy a PS3 to sell on ebay for thousands of dollars because fanboys are disgusting.

imo they should of just kept with the dual shock controller

Well put it this way, ms aren't forcing some proprietary bullshit format on people in some sad attempt to win a format war through a console. Sony know this is the only way they'll have a chance to have a decent format by bunging it into one of their consoles. And the real joke about this is the bluray disk has to cache to the hard drive as the reading speed is so slow so it can take 5gigs or so of your 20 gig hard drive every time you play a different game. Hope people like having to constantly delete whored up space on their ps3's every time they play a couple of different games. sleeping:

And ill say it one more time bluray is NOT needed, look at the texture res in gears of war which fits a regular dvd, then compare that to resistence fall of man which is around 16 gigs or so, no comparing them, gow > rfom.

Resistance Fall of Man looks so gay.


I played the demo to this one off road racing game, the graphics were nice, but looked like anything else on a 360.

put graphics aside...sony shouldn't of even cared

in the end sony will have the best exclusive games...period.
