This MOH has a lot of guns some the same as the first MOH. But all MOH's are about the OSS. Being like the CIA, the OSS had a lot of very distinct weapons like James Bond. It would be nice to see some of the rarely used weapons as well as non-weapons like maybe some special binoculars or something. By the way, 2015 have you any plans for non-weapons or maybe some dud grenades to scare away the Germans.

didnt ian flemming base his 007 characters on some OSS agents ?

riesep 07-02-2001 12:47 AM

I have no idea but it would be nice to know that he did.

riesep 07-02-2001 12:48 AM

See I think that EA wants to keep certain weapons to future MOH games.

Polaris 07-02-2001 12:57 AM

maybe .
alot of people are overlooking the fact that this game is about an OSS agent , not about squad combat and all out war fighting . most of the missions will be about undercover , reconn , sabatoge and other things . so , i think that we will see some spy gadgets in the game which wont be revealed till launch time . i'm thinking that the squad based combat will maybe be about 40 % of the game . imo

2015, it would be nice to know if there are spy gadgets without telling what they are. Can you at least tell us that much.

Hells-Angel 07-02-2001 03:16 AM

I can't wait to see them. That was the thing that really make the first 2 MoH's stand out above the rest. They were really the first FPS's to use a lot of stealth and cover. That's why they are continuoulsy fun.

So this is going to be the first MOH game with spy gadgets. WOW thx elmagoo. I wonder how many spy gadgets there are going to be.

Sorry about that.

Will there be such things as flashlights, gas masks, binoculars or other such things. Of course we wouldn't need binoculars in a level where there is a scope-gun.

BallisticWookie 07-03-2001 10:11 AM

Hehe, damn those double posts http://www.pcgamers.net/ubb/biggrin.gif Spy gadgets sound very interesting, are we able to carry around a briefcase with a radio transmitter so we can call in airstrikes or bombardment from the sea or pick up from a Submarine ?
And if we use the transmitter are the Germans able to pinpoint your location and send troops to take you out ?? I saw that in some World War 2 spy movie, cant remember which one now...
And wasnt the OSS the birth of the CIA ?
