Moving on to BF1942
 

I have bought BF1942 and since i been playing the game i am hooked. As for MOH well im done with it. With lack of support and everyone accusing someone else of cheating well i got tired of it. EA better come up with something better then spearhead because it looks like there going to devote there full attention onto bf1942. The gameplay is so much better then MOH. IN bf you can drive tanks, jeeps, halftracks, bombers, subs, battlecrusiers,aircraft carriers. MOH just lost its touch with lack of support from EA and everything else. I might come back for spearhead but it doesnt look like i will. Ill still post here but seeing as i deleted MOH form my puter i wont be playing it. For those of you with high end machines and a good video card this game is for you. The maps on BF are way better then MOH. Example being stalingrad. That map is way better then MOH's. Its bigger better and way more fun to play. This game was worht the $43 i paid for it. I been playing the demo and since then i was hooked onto this game. At least on BF you dont have to worry about wallhacks bright skins etc etc. Its been fun playing MOH since its release but right now im stuck with BF and my days of MOH are done. FOr those who have bf1942 just look for me on the atlanta servers because there the fastest and have lower ping. Thanks to everyone who has helped me when i needed it and hope to see you all soon on BF1942!

thats too bad von :( i agree that bf is a fun game and visually gorgeous, i dunno if the gameplay is better. yes the vehicles are outstanding and driving them is really cool, but when your a soldier running around with the gun....i dont know if you can call that better gameplay. I thoroughly enjoyed the bf mp demo, and i can honestly say if i had the specs for it i would buy it...i need more ram. i was hooked on bf for a while, but i always come back to moh....i love it too much heh. for me, however, i might be taking a break from moh when CFS 3 comes out on the 24th happy: from what ive read and seen this combat flight sim should be a dandy!! the ultimate combat flight sim will be the next game from Ubi Soft (IL-2) man that will be the best....anyways i hope to get bf retail one day and maybe i can play with ya von biggrin:

<----- High end machine. The game blows monkey balls. The maps are pretty nice i'll give it that. As for gameplay being better. Bullshit. I'll give you a synopsis of every BF1942 game i've played.

Start, miss opening spawn selcting spawn point and weapon.
Wait.
Spawn with noob tube.
Fire tube at invevitable flood of tanks, half tracks, and jeeps.
Die, respawn with MG or SMG to take down inevitable flood of troops with no vehicles.
Die, respawn with Tube to take on respawned vehicles.

Wash, rinse, repeat its all the fucking same. That is if you dont get a vehicle. If you do then replace tube with tank and your good.

Yawn... Call for Arty, none comes, tell people to hop in, nothing. ask for an airstrike it fails to come or fails to kill.

I bought bf 1942 but im still hooked onto Mohaa cause techniqly in bf when u have a sniper rifle and u snipe some body right in the head all they do is flinch. And also it can get laggy sometimes u need to have a good computer to have a full out war of 1000 of men or your going to have a full out lagg fest on your hands when the game freezes every second of play.

I think BF1942 would be a lot more fun if more than a handful of players understood the concept of defending outposts. I realize it may not be the most fun thing to do, but owning the land is the key to success. Securing the outpost then running off somewhere else doesn't accomplish much.

Or how about all the players that stand around waiting for a vehicle to spawn (especially planes) while the enemy kicks our ass.

The maps are too small for the planes anyway.

WTF is with a couple of grenades taking out a tank? I don't think so.

I've never even seen the submarine...

The radio communication is much better than MOHAA even though some numbnuts can't understand it ("Artillary requesting a target!" - not one scout anywhere)

However - BF is a good game for those with the patience to get into it, and find a good server. I'd suggest getting on a server with 100% tk damage which kills you if you kill someone else.

Bf and MOH are two different games. Why folks get into all this my cock is bigger than yours shit is ridiculous. BF is not a man to man game. MOH is. They both offer WAYYYY different gameplay and cant even be compared in that department.

MAP wise, both have alot of shit going for them as well. Graphics - well I wouldnt want to see the system that would have to render BF's maps with MOH graphics.

Bottom line, both offer enough tight gameplay (if you can run them). If you dont like em, piss off with this "drive-by" bullshit.

I find it funny that people who havn't even got the full game can base all their little deluded assumptions on the demo. Anyone can download the demo thus anyone can act a cunt in it. When it comes to actually paying full price for a game most people take it more seriously aside form the warez tards.

I gotta agree - there are servers with the RADIO MESSAGE fuck offs.

But there are just as many in MOH.

I bought the game full price and dont regret it. It's a nice game. Support will make it even nicer. The folks at DICE are focusing on getting that 1.2 patch out and the full SDK will be included so that's gonna give an immediate shot in the arm.

As far as MOH is concerned, its not hurting in the player department (a no-cdkey check helps that), but it IS gonna need some help. Fast. I dont know that even with the SDK folks are going to be too forgiving. Right now there arent any gaming "MONSTERS" out there to take over the time and energy of other folks. BF and MOH stand right now as the two true alternatives to Counter Strike and Unreal (which is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!).

In regards to BF42. I dont play solo. I always play with Bleu and the other =KaoS= n00bs. We normally have to switch servers once or twice a night cause we are getting tked to hell, or the fellas on our team dont understand the mechanics of the game...ie...holding flag points, calling in arty...I like tanks, Sov likes planes, Bleu gets his snipe on, Bones gets his engineer on...Hell the other night the 4 of us held the last spawn point on Battle of the Bulge map against a bunch of tanks and infantry. Bones was laying down mines, I was blazin away in the m10. Sov and Bleu were takin out anything else getting through. That was fun...but you have to work together for this to be an enjoyable game. This game punishes the lone wolf. Ive fragged with BB and Meat as well...Seeing BB go off on the pub n00bs was well.....priceless evil: eek: ed: oOo: oOo: oOo: cool:

Why do people freak when someone prefers another game? I hate to break it to you people but moh online is fucking shit. Multiplayer was a fucking afterthought the game wasn;t even supposed to have a multiplayer mode but ea changed their minds and allowed 2015 to put in a rather crap implementation of it.

In terms of multiplayer both rtcw and bf-1942 absoloutely fuck moh up the ass. The only good thing moh has going for it is the single player campaign which is arguably better than rtcw's and a lot better than bf-1942's.

Spearhead MAY change this but its ea so i highly doubt it.

Full SDK? Where did you happen to read this? Now, based upon a recent interview, they aren't sure if they are even going to release a map editor, or so conveniently place it within an expansion. Sound familiar?

Its not so bad though.. as of now we can replace models, skins, etc..

I might come back for spearhead and play BF as well. If spearhead is good then ill keep it. If its not to my liking then ill take it back and get my refund. SOme people hate battlefield thats fine your titled to your own opinion but the fact is that i like it and im staying with it.
