Hey Everyone!

I was in a demo-server today and the info-bot kept repeating "The server will be switching to the full game tomorrow." Other people in the server were talking about how they could not wait to get up earlier and grab it off the shelves. Am I in the dark or something? The last time I heard, it was coming out on the 18th. Has it been bumped up to the 12th? If so, I have to set my alarm clock before going to bed tonight.

I'm not trying to sound like I have been living under a rock, but I honestly had no idea that it was going to be in stores earlier than the 18th.

Haha, that's a good idea. I think the Wal-Mart's here close at 11 PM though :-(

I work at Target though, so I will get up early and get it...plus, I get the discount! Woohoo!

I know Walmart stocks the new movies at midnight, not sure about games. I heard that the game doesn't ship until the 12th so I'm not sure if anyone will be getting it until the 13th. Does anyone know what is going on?

That's the same reason I asked this question...because I thought that the SHIPPING date was the 12th and that it would hit shelves at a later date...

Software Etc. told me the earliest I could get it would be the 13th. I have it reserved there but I may go check Walmart tonight at midnight just in case.

I'll be getting up early, too, just to see if I can grab one before they run out (if they are even out at that time).

I'm at work and can't call long distance, so could someone call there 24hr Walmart and see if it will be out a midnight. Please post what you find out. Thanks if anyone does this. biggrin:

My wife just called our local Walmart and the person she talked to didn't have a clue on if it's going to be available at midnight. She said there was nobody there that would know. So check your local Walmart for details. biggrin:

I've noticed for the past year or so that EB always says that they'll have it available the day after they receive the shipment. And every single time, this proves to be rubbish. They tell you this so they don't disappoint if the stock arrives late in teh day. They would also prefer to get in on the shelved first too. This time is like all the others, they are telling me to come by on the 13th, but the web site says tomorrow [12th]. As I do every time. I'll go in tomorrow evening and pick it up. The only thing that baffles me is, here in Maryland, new releases come out on Tuesdays in most retail stores (Best Buy, Target). So, it would be practicle for the game to be on the shelf tomorrow. I dunno, this all seems weird to me.

The next thing that will be unveiled is, that there really isn't an expansion and that we have all been tricked from the start.

and it also says release date was 11/05/02 for band of brothers, which I picked up on that date...so Best Buy is gonna have it tomorrow

Yo most stores arent even getting it till the 18th. EB near me isnt getin till 18th not sure about BEst Buy or Toys R Us

I've confirmed with my local EB that they are receiving Spearhead at the store late tomorrow. They've indicated that they won't display it until Wednesday [13th[.

I guess it just depends on your location/store

I'm going to call Software Etc. in the tomorrow afternoon and check on the status.

I ordered and prepaid mine copy today at EB. They told me I will get it the 13th.

Well, I check out the stores in the morning and let you know if it is released here.

Hopefully I will be able to come home 30 bucks short with an expansion in my hands.

Dude chill I just asked the guy and he said 18th, Not 13th. He even said "No not the 13th" before I even asked... So...
