Damnit! I want more obj maps!
 

I don't know how it is for the rest of you guys, but I used to play OBJECTIVE only..well some TDM for fun. The thing is I like the fact that when you're dead you're DEAD and overhere in Europe the most popular game mode in clanwars is the OBJECTIVE. So why is there no new OBJ maps?? Do I have to wait for ANOTHER exp. pack? The custom maps I want to use isn't allowed in the Clanwar games....Damnit EA gimme more OBJECTIVE maps!! mad:

Any new maps in a patch perhaps? Please ask guys from the Moh community this time, not the Q3 guys please.. hake:

I'm not arguing with you, there is a need for more OBJ maps, as the majority of custom maps are now DM/TDM. The best thing to do man, is why not just learn how to map? If you want to see certian things in maps, why not bring it to the community?

Don't forget Omaha

V2 is the best and i agree with you. MORE OBJ maps. i was thinking about making one but i need an idea...

I would have to agree, We need more obj maps. As for making them I don't see how that would really do any good. Most of the servers only run stock maps, If its not in the box or patch then they don't run it. I think that they are afraid that people will leave and not come back when they get kicked for not having the custom maps downloaded. I know one of the clan servers I play on a lot tried adding 2 maps but took them off less then a day after putting them on because of people not having them downloaded.


I love custom maps, I look for server that run them because I like new things. But its hard finding many servers that do. Its almost all, V2,Bridge, Hunt, Thank god most obj servers do not run Omaha, lol, if Omaha was a custom map it would never get played.

i used to like omaha but its way to over played and its real boring if you play it for more than 10 minutes

thats not the axis wineing its the allies trying to tell you to get your ass up and fight...sniping on allies side accomplishes nothing...my name in the game is Some Allied Guy..and if I wernt on the big ass boat I'd be popin axis full of thompson smg clips...but till then cya.

i play obj exclusively and it pisses me off to no end that there are no new obj maps on the expack.

TOW imo is just gay, because after i respawn 5 times on one map i am completely finished with playing anymore. spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, finish one objective, die, etc. it just burns me out and makes me sick of playing.

TDM, yeah u dont respawn, but you have no objective but to stay alive. hmmmmm, isnt that the objective of every single video game ever produced where death results in game over? at least when u die in an obj map, u can watch your teamates try to finish the task at hand.

there is no stratagy involved in these other game modes quite like objective matches.

I remember me and a few buddies once.. We were camping on the beach as allies and just snipering all the axis... Well it didn't take to long before we had no targets.. All the axis literally decided to stay in doors.

I'm not saying thats all I do on Omaha, I love playing that map. But to just sit on the beach pissing people off can be fun. biggrin:

I don't mind if there is 1 or 2 snipers on the beach if the allies have more then 7 players. What I hate is when its 5-5 and 4 of the damn allies are sniping.

Fix the darn server downlaod!
 

One way to bring more maps to the community is to fix the darn server downloading. I would run all custom maps if I could but no one will play on my server then. Its to much effort for them to go to my website, get the maps and install them. If they fixed it so your server could send them the map when they try to join and don't have it (LIKE JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER FPS EVER MADE DOES) then we would not have this problem.

I agree somewhat, it would be very nice for you to be able to download directly form the server or at least alow the server to point you to where it can so it does not tie up resources. I really hate getting into a server that is full of guys equal to my skills ( not saying good or bad just equal) and then a custom map comes up and half of them are gone. But I also don't like installing stuff with out me being able to look it over first. Maybe if they could figure out a way to point to a trusted site (like AA) then I would be ok with it. Although this site goes down so much it would be impossible to point here.

I know that MOB clan at one time had a map pack that you could download and it would stick a bunch of there maps that they run in your main. I did it and while it was installing I saw a pop up come on my screen and disapear real quick, never did figure out what it did. Have no idea whether it was good or bad or even part of it. May have been something from another program running in the background. But it made me nervous so I reinstalled from a back up and just downloaded the maps one by one. I like many other people out there are just way to paranoid to let things auto update from unknown sites.

i also hate when there is like 20 ppl on a server then a custom map comes up and only 10 r left. It gets annmoying...we need to make something and get everyone to sign it and send it over to E.A. so we can get some more maps. DAMN IT!

i was on 32 man server and then some weird map came up and 3 people had it
