can someone give me some advice? Ok i saved the image as bean.jpg. I uploaded it into angelfire and when i view it there it works so why isnt it working now?

vVolf 12-07-2002 08:32 PM

omg! I just got an angelfire login message! LOL

Wow, thats a great signature... pppft! You got the code for the login, not your picture.

Advice:

1. I can see your picture.
2. Angelfire doesn't support remote linking.
3. Go to mohaa.cact-sd.org and upload the sig there.

vVolf 12-07-2002 09:38 PM

No, your picture is still broken, but the login has gone... Finally. I'll have a look at what is wrong.

Bean 2 12-09-2002 03:18 PM

ok i blended the edges a little more. Whic one do u like better? the black and white one or the dbz one?

Magnum 12-09-2002 03:32 PM

I'm not a DBZ fan, so I would go with the B&W one, especially with the WWII theme. What program are you using? If you're using Photoshop, there's a way to blend that stuff better.

OK, here's what you want to do:
1. Take the part of the picture you want to appear completely and select it. If you want all of a square image or something like that, select just within the borders of the picture. Use any of the selection/lasso tools that you need for what you want.
2. Inverse the selection.
3. When the "other" stuff is selected, go into the layers menu and go
Add Layer Mask -> Hide Selection.
4. When you do this, the new layer mask will be selected by default. You can always select it in the layers toolbar. To blend it, go into the filters menu to Gaussian Blur. When you add that, it should blur up the edges.
5. You may have to use the eraser in airbrush mode with a light pressure to clean up the edges.

Stupid errors.

YoMattYo 12-09-2002 09:58 PM

A really easy way of getting your picture on the internet(if you have WinXP) just click once on the file and click publish on the internet on the left, then use msn groups. Really easy, I always do it.

vVolf 12-10-2002 06:01 AM

Does it matter how big the file is?
