The Year is 2008, The American Military is at it's highest point. The communist pack is created all over again and it is now called the "Communist National Party" and they expand to the countries of Russia (Of course), China, Cuba, and 3 Middle-Eastern Strong power countries. The British and French are the only ones holding their heads up w/America and ready to fight. We're all busy in our daily lives and the world comes to a pause when we here a special news report from the major news networks that CNP has invaded Japan, South-East Asia, and South America. We all have this big talk about war and how we are some war buffs. Well, when this situation is pressed on your face, what do you do? Join the war and leave your family, job, and home *Maybe your life? Or Stay at home take care of your family and stay afraid and hope and prey the war front doesn't come home (Knowing you could've helped changed the outcome). So c'mon you war buffs! Speak the truth and tell me would you join the war and why? Or why wouldn't you. No James Bond shit, just pure out heart. I would seriously Join the war because I am family to a string of Military Vets and my grandpa on my mothers side is a WWII Veteran who fought in the Pacific and lost most of his hearing because of a grenade explosion. As you can imagine, I have been taught about war very often. War is in my blood and I am a brought up American Patriot. To fight for the cause seems like it is the only right thing.

By 2008 I'd be 19 or 20 depending on the month.
I don't know why I'd fight I just would.
Mybe I'd feel I'd need to keep the Red Army from invading my precious homeland.

By 2008, wouldn't all 3rd World Countries and all the superpowers have access to nuclear weapons ? So Nuclear Apocalypse is quite a possibility...Say Pakistan (Allied with the Communists), attacks India (Allied with us), Then we launch our missiles on Pakistan, Retaliating the Communists attack us, India attacks the Communists and so on and so on and so on...It wouldn't stop until the world is just a big crater (as such)...

Yep, it's all about unconventional warfare these days, and with this nuclear missile scenario, if the US gets this missile defence system up and going, there shouldnt be much worry. But still the use of conventional forces still far outweighs the use of special forces, in the years to come special forces will be used be used more but you cant really just depend on spec ops to do the job all by themselves. The rely heavily on the backup of their not so heavily trained brothers.

- they send a nice little chemical bomb on your soldiers.. instant kill.

All this to say it's highly unlikely mass amounts of footsoldiers will be used.. it will be the "war that was fought from behind a computer monitor" ..

Just an update :

Although I say "they'll use bombs/missiles", I know they wouldn't use
anything too geographically destructive. That is to say : no hydrogen,
nuclear or atomic weapons.

If they used these, other countries would do the same.. the earth wouldn't
be able to take it : it would simply explode. Trust me on this.

So stop thinking about nuclear winters and all that dumb shit. It will NEVER
happen.. NEVER.

Worst case scenario : some chemical bombs will explode here & there and the
elements will get carried around by the wind, making some extra casualties..

No one gets how bad it is. My grandfather was in ww2. He told me about it. How would you like to be walking through a open field, not a person in sight. The all of the sudden, a bullet wisses past your head, you see your best friend fall to the ground and stops breathing while blood pours over his face. There were 19 left out of a platoon of 55. Their planes had napalmed the area, destroying the guns. How would you like to be burned all over your body from gas tanks that exploded and have a bug in your ear the whole time you had a full body cast on. Or would you like to have appendicitus over 300 miles from the nearest MASH and have to drive in a busted up jeep all that way? How would you like to do that?

war now is stupid anyway.. Too high tech.. I dont wanna join infantry and watch my whole platoon and me get shot down by 900 heat seaking missles from migs.. Infantry doesnt have a chance in war now.. I saw on discovery a new bullet that senses u hiding behind rubble or whateevr, and once it passes the cover it explodes in your face killing u.. Thats horrible, wish we stayed with ww2 guns.. Or every1 will juss nuke every1 and thats it... were done..
