A kick ass stealth-based 3rd person shooter. It blows Metal Gear Solid away.

Graphics are better on PC than on Xbox....wierd. But it runs way too slow to play on my comp......no clue

Well, I downloaded the demo and jumped right into the game. The graphics were really impressive, but with a Geforce 2 MX400/64Mb I had to run at 640x480 to get the screen to animate faster than Photoshop filters on an old 386. And I'm assuming that the controls are discussed in detail in the readme, but for jumping right into the demo, it seemed as tho they just weren't common sense (and I did go through the options to figure out what was what before hand). And then the gameplay... not to crazy about this. Seemed very slow and for having a silenced pistol and having tripped a bunch of alarms, I didn't have much of a fight.

Maybe there's more to the game and it was probably discussed in detail in the readme, but I'm far to busy at the moment to want to figure it out.

I'd try it but I don't like 3rd person stuff , I'm strickly a FPS kinda guy. biggrin:

The graphics are great, gameplay is cool, but it won't compare to MGS. oOo:

no i have it on xbox and its alot better on that only 1 dam level with the demo and u get to save unlike the xbox u had to do so much first pitty that they should have kept the same idea

Its not so much a shooter, but more sneaking around to get stuff done. In the vein of System Shock 2. My friend played it on Xbox and said it was really good, but if you are looking for firefights, this prolly isnt the game for you.

solid snake will break his legs trying to do a split jump. probably get kicked in the nuts too if he tryed to take a hostage lol

This game kicks ass but the demo is way to short.

try doing all the moves. split jump, hostage taking, shooting while holding hostage, rolling, hanging onto pipe, shooting from pipe, elbowing people, hanging off ledge, shootign from corner, back to wall. these are just a few that are available for the demo

whoever the hell said that this game is better than the MG series had to be smoking crack.

i dunno. a single spy infiltrating an oil rig full of soldiers trying to hunt down a 100 feet robot sounds kinda weird to me.

If you actually played the whole game, you will figure out that Kojima is the man

MGS2 was incredibly boring to me. 80% of that game is cut scenes. The AI is terrible, graphic suck. And who cares if Splinter Cell doesn't have a story-line. Its supposed to be realistic. In real life splinter cells and anti-terrorist units don't have fucking story-lines.

it may look alright, but mgs 2 looks better...

Christ look at the glow from the NVG's, might as well just shine a flashlight at people.

The game owns! I can't wait to buy it! when does it come out on PC?
