Your Favorite Song

Hey all whats your favorite song, mines has to be,

I Am the man of Constant Sorrow

Innoxx 01-08-2003 01:35 PM

The End by The Doors, or Papa's Got a Brand New Bag by James Brown.

Zoner 01-08-2003 01:36 PM

Hrm...hard to say.

Anything by Maiden tops my list.

Other than Maiden, I'd say the song that gets the most play in my car is "Take It Off" by The Donnas. Those chicks RAWK!

Sergeant John W Martin 01-08-2003 01:43 PM

cool i might download them and listen to them!

Argon 01-08-2003 01:44 PM

Amen to Maiden Zoner!! I cant even think of a favorite song by them because I love them all (Up to "No prayer for the Dying" after that I stopped buying their studio albums).

I just picked up the Queens of the Stone Age- "Song for the Deaf" and the album is pretty good. I have been listening to that in the car lately, on my new xmas amplifier (Rockford Fosgate 550X 4 channel-it kicks ass!!).

Zoner 01-08-2003 01:50 PM

You don't have "Brave New World" Argon?!?!? Man, you are missing OUT!!

Powerslave used to be my fave album by them, but BNW is now. Get it, for the love of GOD get it!!!

Zone

Sergeant John W Martin 01-08-2003 01:56 PM

is it rock music Zoner?

Milla 01-08-2003 02:00 PM

This isnt my favorite song but jesus its awesome "Crazytown- Drowning" Its such a great song

Zoner 01-08-2003 02:01 PM

You've never heard of Iron Maiden? *faints*

*wakes up*

Iron Maiden play progressive, melodic, and powerful metal. If you are a fan of heavy music (and I assume you aren't since "Man of Constant Sorrow" is your favourite song), you have to pick up some Maiden.

Wow, BNW better than Powerslave????? Ok, thats gonna be tough to do(RofAM, flash of the blades, two minutes, aces, etc...), but I will take your word for it, I'll pick it up.

Zone, you like the first two Albums? I happen to like Paul Dianno(SP?) he's no Dickinson, but the first two albums are still pretty good.

Sergeant John W Martin 01-08-2003 02:02 PM

You ever heard Man of Constant Sorrow Zoner?

Zoner 01-08-2003 02:08 PM

To Argon: I love it all, man. "Killers" ranks right up there with my fave Maiden tunes. I guarantee that Brave New World will not disappoint you. Look for "The Wicker Man", "Ghost of the Navigator", "Dream of Mirrors", "Blood Brothers", and "Out of the Silent Planet". All are stellar, classic Maiden tunes.

To Martin: yes, of course I've heard that tune. The radio stations killed that one about 2 years ago. It won a bunch of awards too. Having said that, I can't stand it. Just not my style of music. If you like it, that's cool.

I'd have to agree with Zoner about Iron Maiden, metal would be nothing without them. I don't really have a favorite song from them, but my favorite song might be:

Stone Sour - Inhale

Akuma 01-09-2003 05:15 AM

If I HAD to pick a fav Maiden song it would be Run to the Hills probaly.... but then again there is Hallowed by Name, and Number of the Beast.... eh who cares.

Bucknub 01-09-2003 06:50 AM

Rochester, NY.

Stone Sour is a fanominal side project of Corey Taylor, and Jim Root from Slipknot, they're much better than Slipknot ever could be.
