what are your opinions about the SP demo. How do you like it? I personally loved it so much i went out and pre-ordered the game on the same day. Its great, especially on hard level.

I think it blows goats better than your mom. Snipers need some good drift in their guns. Or some simulated breathing to have the gun bob a little.. I took the whole German army with my sniper gun.. till I ran out of ammo. Like i did last night with your mom. You monkey love. Go post your happy comments on another board! This game needs drift its not quake 3. Now ill go quake your mom with some crsico and a slip and slide..

Sorry bout the mom stuff.. I am still hot about the last time we clashed. I enjoy the game a bit.. But I would like to see a game I will play for a while.. and this will turn sour when everyone gets a sniper gun... and it will get stupid if they start putting restrictions to the number of snipers and bazooka men instead of just play balancing.. Forget it I am still pissed at you ... you monkey love toy. Get plastic bag place on head and breathe heavily!!!

Well I liked the new demo. I've been playing on the hard setting and it has kept me quite entertained. Talk about your Band of Brothers feel.

The demo is nice, but there's some things I dislike.

I agree this looks to be a good game not a GREAT game.. think half-life in ww2. Great scripting ... decent AI.. plenty of the same.. HALO seems to be my favorite story driven FPS (sure wish it was on the PC) right after Counter strike still. Ignore monkey boy mellow hes just an escapee from the jim rose sideshow of farm love.

I saw that too.. Like I said a good game not a great game =).. To bad had some high hopes. But well see with the final release if this turns to a GREAT game.. I got some complaints with the graphics too. the player models aren;t real good. Their isn't much shadow at in the scenes. It all seems really flat.. Course been looking at halo lately and hard to compare the graphics of the two.

My opinions on the sp demo:
AI on BOTH sides is stupid/unrealistic. enemy ai aims far too well. if ai aim wasnt ludicrously accurate, then you wouldn't need to have unrealistic damage modifiers. friendly ai likes to shoot you in the back if there is a guy in front of you friendly ai doesn't like to duck or hide behind corners. they would rather get shot. again if ai was better, you could remove rediculous damage modifiers. all guns aim too well. need more scatter/bob. enemy ai seems to "spawn" out of nowhere thats it for now i guess. the biggie is the enemy ai's aim...they need to reduce that big time. |

Oh my God, CatKnight, RUUUUUUN! Run to the hills! Run as fast as you can! Nothing sets off the flamers on these boards (including some of the moderators)faster than criticizing the aiming algorithms in this game. I asked about that last week and the thread ended up getting closed down because the discussion got out of hand. But before it was there were 5 pages of people ripping into me for saying it was too easy to snipe.

Well I agree about the gravity and bullet drop and it needs drift but I still think it is the best out there (ghost recon is a joke).
