Interesting "connections"
 

My one friend Ben has a brother that is a musical arranger. Ben's brother has already arranged many famous movie songs and get this.....he signed a deal to do the arranging in the next TWO medal of honor PC games. I think the music in MOHAA is SOOOO GOOD, especially all the trumpet solos and such. I know the music for EA will be aweseome, but i'm not too sure about the actual EA service and support. cry:

yeah i'm listening to the soundtrack right now..my favorite is 11b_action, the piano sounds very tough

hopefully a toptally revamped game with better gameplay like DoD

Yes squad-based, I really disliked the SP for MoH, it was nothing but a WW2 james bond.

they have a mod for that dont they? Team assault i think?

i doubt he is able to give details about it. Sorry guys, i pleaded! Yeah, he said he's working on 2 Medal of Honor music arrangments. He's not the "programer" so he probably wouldn't know anything about the game itself except the music.

What does a music arranger do? oOo: Does this mean they are not gonna have that guilito guy or whatever his name is doing the music?

an arranger basically has the skeleton structure of the music already. He/she has to figure out transitions between different "themes" and make those transitions sounds musically correct. It's a hard job, i'll admit that. But, sometimes they'll give the arranger a sound sample of what the company "is aiming for" and then the arranger will write out the notes for each instrument in the orchestra.
