i asked them after the 2nd time got kicked why and they said nofog..BULLSHIT i have honesty config installed and its the same dogtag 1.7 bot thats on our clan server and many i play on and not 1 ever say this shite..urm i asked them if they would want a screenshot for proof of me having fog they said get off..TOSSES..u only have to look back through all the posts on skins and mods at my scopes to see i have fog...i cant find there site to put a complaint on there forum so if any 1 has there url then pls leave on here..i want to clear this up b4 been called a CHEAT which i no way.

Oh, I don't know if this is thread deserves the usual "Who cares, you're not the first or last to moan about this" award that everyone seems to queue up these days to give.

This is a genuine worry... A cheat detecting program that detects cheats that don't actually exist is laughable.

Now, the picture posted isn't amazingly clear (You'd have done better to have taken a screenshot of that chat and get a clearer shot of fog - I can see there's fog on your screen but it's not really clear) but it does seem that the picture shows fog all the same.

I only just came back to playing MoH recently and noticed this "cheat detector" and really wondered about its accuracy. I presume it checks each user's dumpuser result and has a list of well-known pk3 files that contain skins and other mods?

That can't be 100% accurate, as most of us know.

I suppose it gets rid of the odd skin junky who doesn't even realise they're using skins that would be considered to be cheating, or that they have a file named nofog.pk3 (or similar), but other than that it seems to be fairly dodge (English slang for unreliable).

Maybe you were just kickin their asses so bad they needed an excuse to get rid of you, i know thats happened to me before.... know when you jump down from something and you cant jump or duck until it happens again? they thought it was a cheat and kicked me several times, although i think it was because i wouldnt let them get close to the town in "The Hunt" .Good old sweet spot with my m1.

has anyone ever been acused of useing a aim bot when they get more then 5 head shoots in a row even thou ur useing a sniper rifle?

Yeh, I have many times and so has many others. Blame CS for that.

The thing is, even an aimbot wouldn't guarantee 100% hit ratio, due to the physics of the game (That is, if you move the shot will deviate from centre).

Some people just cannot bring themselves to believe that someone else is better than them to such a degree that they're embarassed by it.

And you're right, there is no such thing as a hack that aims for the head or any other body part, not for MoH.

I truly believe it's impossible to make (otherwise it would have been done by now). This is mostly due to the complete lack of support available for altering MoH code. In a small way this is a blessing, although the graphics drivers are changeable (hence wallhacks being available).
