sorry to post again... but how did you change the text of where it says m1 garand... that doesnt look like the normal text... where can i get that? it would make my screenshots easier to edit too.

I got it off MOHfiles.com and just tried it out. Heres some constructive critisism, although my opinion doesnt matter. It definately looks better in the screenshots than it does in the game. I dont like the light metal at all, it looks unrealistic. The wood doesnt look very detailed either in the game. If youre thinking its my video card, its not. Try darkening the metal and using a more detailed wood texture for the stock.

That gun was made from an actual picture. The screenshot is from my Mohaa on the settings I play it on. SO how does the screenshot look better, when its from my game? I took the screeny and then resized it for the 56kers and converted it to jpg. Pics are from game.

yeah, I'm using it now, and it looks awesome to me. EXACTLY like the screenshots in fact. also, the texturing on the wood is EXCELLENT! and the metal looks worn, like metal on a gun really would look after some use. Imma hafta ta say you must have your vid settings messed or somethin (even tho u said you dont, I dont beleive ya) my ge4 seems to push it out just as the ss look in here. and the best part,.......the lettering on the gun is AWESOME!

I was talking about the 3rd person screenshot, not the one with the sleeves... the metal looks darker in it... im not bashing your skin dude, i like it but im just saying it doesnt look as realistic as i thought it would.

this is what i am used to using in the game, you can see the wood is a little more textured and the metal is darker. yours is just a different style, thats all.

compare that picture of a real m1 to your screenshot... the metal isnt even close. in the screenshot with the sleeves it looks more like silver than metal and in the real picture it doesnt look very light. If you were to fade the dark metal on the m1 screenshot i posted, it would look more like the real thing.

LOL I am not a skinner... that m1 isnt mine it's Falpo's... the wood stock is a little red i supposed because it's supposed to look new. but I posted it to show the metal color not the wood. I agree Brutal does have other good ones but they just aren't my kind of skins. People have their own opinions, I was just stating mine.

wait a minute... you say Falpo's is too red? Look at the real picture that Brutal posted buddy, it has more red in the stock than the m1 i posted does. You cant deny that.
