If he were from the future why would he come back now? why not to a few years ago when that 'Bre-X' fiasco was happening. could you imagine whe payoff of that?

unless you put it in a bank, assuming the bank still exsists in 200 years then you would have to go back in time to before the bank closed and put it in a new bank that is still around in the time that you'll make a withdrawl.

but what he could've done was go into the future and get the stock reports for the 2256 and play in that time, unless the government set up rule against doing such things in which case why wouldn't they have a rule against going back in time and doing that to gain the money he wants in 2256.

or he could have invented the time machine himself and the government doesn't know about it and decided to go back in time to play the stocks so the future government won't get suspicious and take away his time machine.

or he could have come back in time as part of an experiment to test the time machine, and he needed money to build a new time machine to get back to the future, but that raises the question why don't his scientist buddies(assuming he didn't build it himself) go back to pick him up with a different time machine, since they know hes alive now that hes in the news

or he could be lieing

by the theory of relativity and other shit we learned about in precal, to achieve time travel , youd have to go the speed of light, and your mass would increase exponetaly til it eventually becomes infinate and you become the universe kinda. so either they find some other way in the future and came here... the only other theory to travel thru time is going thru a black hole, but the gravity in those things is so great it bends light rays and whatever goes it never comes out.

Or take a car from the 80's and put a flux capasitor in it, then sell Plutonium to Lybians, and go back in time to the 50's. Oh, back the future, how I love the.
