Post Pics of the Character Skin you Use!
Just curious to see who's running around with what.
I'll get the ball rolling with my two; Just for the record...No, i'm not going to post them for D/L. In the words of Captain Miller... "That one i save just for me..." biggrin: |
I just overwrote the Default models with skins that are made by others that I like. For some reason the waffenSS guys hands are huge and deformed in-game.

These are both skins of myself.
The allied skins textures are all photographed, with the exception of the helmet (cant remember where i stole it from) Both skins feature in The Motrix (I really need to finnish bullet time for MOHAA) The motrix is here -> http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/whsa/motrix.html |

I as well use custom skins to overwrite all my stock ones. these are my 2 favorites. one is Guarnere's new airborne guy, and the other is RF's Afrika soldier. |

How do you overwrite the olds skins with new ones?
|
Just rename a custom skin to allied_originalname, like I make an old man and replace it with allied_airborne, but I don't recommend this ONLY IF YOU HATE THE ORIGINAL SKINS, i rather you name it differently.
|
Walker, not to nitpcik, but i noticed in your sig, the helmet on your character model doesn't have an inside texture, and looks seethrough. Have you fixed that/don't know how to fix it/don't give a shit?
|
I am not a skinner, it's Jojimbo's 101st AB Captain so I guess its something he forgot.. lol. THanks for pointing that out, I never noticed it.
|
It's fairly easily fixed. Just send me the .shader and i'll do the appropriate fixing. If you can skin, however, just have a look in another .shader at the helmets, and see what's missing
I forget exactly what the line is, but it's got something to do with a sphere oOo: |

OR you can use the us_helmet_inside model found in this pack: [url:4dbc0]http://www.alliedassault.us/pafiledb3/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=296[/url:4dbc0] That way you can use camo outside whereas the inside remains blank. |
That's the one. Well picked up, Sgt.
|
Wilkins, whats your email, Ill send you the shader files, or you can just d/l the pack here... http://perso.wanadoo.fr/jean-louis.legentil/
Jojimbos 101st Airborne, not Screamin Eagles |
