Best Movie Ending or Best Ending to a TV Series
 

Everyone post what you think was the best ending for a film.

For me it would be the film Blade Runner. Ending (close enough) on the roof after fighting with the last replicant, Deckhard is saved by Roy. Cool speech and cool ending to a great film.

For me best ending for a TV series would go hands down to Blackadder Goes Forth. The troops are all ordered over the top of the trenches, funny episode with a powerful ending.

There are so many great movies out there, can't decide. biggrin:

For some reason I loved the end of Enemy At the gates, and best ending on TV, 24.

jap cartoons suck what you talking about? all their characters have gay ass looking faces and out of porportion bodies, everytime i see it i just wanna shoot the artist.

omg jap cartoons better than american movies? you've been smoking too much pot. cartoon dosnt even require "real acting" because acting is movement and action combined with speech and cinematics, unlike jap cartoons which are basically people talking into a microphone making it sound like they're getting raped y an octopus or whatever.

Princess Mononoke was rated better than Forrest Gump.

Just because its cartoon doesn't mean its made for kids or not good.

Mononoke has an incredible plot, great voice acting and animation. Maybe if you'd take the time to watch it before you judge it you'd understand.

tv - blackadder goes forth - agreed, is brilliant comedy wth a powerful ending.

film - some that have struck me lately was the ending to Red Dragon, the last thing hannibal says. its such a cool tie to silence of the lambs.
and also the ending of Unbreakable. a lot of people thought that movie was shit, but the way he just comes out and says "the children - they called me mr glass" - his badguy name. My sister and I were sitting thinking aww cool! what a kick ass ending!

Hey now that I think about it there are some cool movies that are anime. Neon Genesis Evangelion was a great TV series as was Cowboy Bebop. Lotsa cool anime movies like Castle of Cagliostro (sp?) and Ninja Scroll.

I don't know why some of you think cartoons are not movies. Anyways back on topic lets hear more movie and tv endings.

TV: M*A*S*H (But Oddball makes a valid point about Blackadder IV)
Movie: Snatch; "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction...and a Pikey reaction is quite the fuckin' thing..." Great Flick!

I liked the ending of Lock, Stock better but I guess it was targeting a different audience.

Also about M*A*S*H, isn't the last line read "Pull down your pants and slide on the ice."

Best movie ending was the 6th sense. It made an otherwise average movie worth watching again.
