I also heard they give headaches after a while, like assaulted said. Its like the *shrugs* virtual boy. I remember i tried that out, and i was on it for like 20 minutes, i then ran to the bathroom and threw up. hake:

I played with them on moh at a computer show last year. They weren't anything special. They are more like a novalty and don't improve skill or gameplay.

my dad has some x3d ones, it totally sucks for mohaa, but it kicks ass in combat flight sim 3.

I wear them a lot, but only for driving and evey day shit...
never tried 'em with my computer tho.... eek:

What does it really do? Is it like really 3D, and like someone is running in your face kind of thing? Or is it just like a closer monitor?

A guy at work uses them, but without the ones that have support from nVidia, you can only get a maximum resolution of 800x600.
