hey guys, im quite sure u know who this guy is by now. I just wanted to know, what u guys think about em? He grew up just 2 miles from here so of course im gonna say that he's a great singer and such. I just wanted to hear some of the other world's oppinion b/c in birmingham of course everyone is crazy about the "velvet teddy bear" Will this guys succeed in singing? Or once his 15 minutes of fame is up ( if ever) will the whole country just drop em?

I think he is not good. I only watched the last show but I thought that Clay dude was a lot better. And this is coming from a guy that lives in Birmingham.

I think your wrong Gomer Pyle was a lot thinner, but he was a good singer.

Clay Aiken is a fag. If he ever released an album, I for one wouldn't but it. That 'guy' (and I use the term lightly) has no respect for his original gender.

At list Studard had some charm with his singing ability......And he maintained an element of maleness.

American idol is a horrible show. so are other reality shows, they are overdone

Yeah, I don't give a flying shit about these "reality" shows. I bet more people voted for Ameircan Idol than they did for the president. I saw a commercial for an "American Junior" the same thing, but with kids, fucking stupid. I can see parents acting like soccer moms. Stupid horse shit tv.

yeah i saw the preview of that show too, mad: but i think that those moms will act more like hockey/baseball dads.

Yeah, I know. I don't watch them either. But a lot of people do. A lot of Canadians watched American Idol. My mom watched them religiously.

And believe it or not, their coming out with Canadian Idol this summer. I'm sure tons of Canadians will watch it.

that show is dumb, and is all bullshit. And in the beginning, all those horrible singers that were there were just paid by the network to sing like that, because no one who sounds like that does not think theyre good. They just included them for entertainment. And isnt it ackward how they showed up for a song in the last episode? Even though they protested their decisions by the judges and stormed out of the room?

yeah i agree. There is no way that they could sound that bad and still make the cut, unless they paid for their audition but last i checked, auditions were free for events like that. Its the same with those dumb ppl on jay leno the "jaywalk allstars". They pretend to be dumb and dont know anything about anything. Jay paid them too to look idiotic on national television

no, i mean the networks paid people to sound bad, so they can put them on the show's horrible singers thing, just so they get more viewers

Yeah, it's the same with singing.

We had NZ Pop-Stars, and Australia had a version too.....The same type of people were shown at the auditions for those as well.

So yeah, I'd say these people do exist.

The first time i saw clay aiken, i thought to myself, "WOW, this guy is either a queer or a cult leader. He has the 'smile' to himself. He belongs on the Sunday morning broadcasts of 'Send me your money and I will pray for you' shows..........weird man."

But yeah, i thought Clay had a better voice. I think he had more of a stage presence also.

Well, you may not realize it, but we do have our own television shows, including numerous reality shows. We have popstars as wel and all that shit. There are Canadian films and TV shows, so I dunno why its funny. If it works in the states, why wouldn't it work in Canada? I'm sure CTV will make a killing off of it.

Boot Camp was the only good reality show I have ever seen. I cant believe all the guys voted for that girl who lost at all but 1 of the challenges just because they felt sorry. Wolf shoulda won!
